Let Sleeping Babes Lie...

For those of you out there who read my blog you know that I have said it before and I will say it again -- the only predictable thing about a newborn session is that 'beautiful baby' is well....mostly unpredictable. Today though, much to mommy and daddy's surprise, baby G proved that it is possible to complete a newborn session in 2 hours and that some babies really do sleep through all of my squeezing, handling, curling and folding. I should also mention that we were not even peed on once...really!!

Thanks so much S and K for a fabulously successful photo shoot. You were laid-back, happy to be here and so completely "into" the creative process which really does make my job more enjoyable.  I can see already that you are going to be terrific parents.

A Princess Turns One!

I have had the pleasure of photographing this beauty since she was in her mummy's tummy over a year ago.  Now at one year old, Miss A is still full of LIFE!!  This little princess certainly made me work for these photos -- as soon as I would get her in one spot she would run away. But alas...a challenge is what makes my job so much fun. Thanks C family for a great session. It has truly been an honour being your fine art photographer for your daughter's first year of life.
