Proud Brother Colin welcomes Baby Henry

I have had the pleasure of photographing Big Brother Colin since he was 2 weeks young ~ and now 22 months later this beautiful family has a new addition, baby brother Henry.  Henry wasn't all that sleepy for me during our shoot, but mom informed me later that once I left he slept the entire afternoon!!  Go figure.

Regardless, we captured some special images and I was honoured to have been asked back to document this next chapter for my clients. Congratulations mom, dad and Colin on the arrival of your little cherub.

Introducing Beautiful Thomas

This week is newborn week - this post will be the first of more session teasers to come.  It seems that May is shaping up to be a busy month for these precious new arrivals.

Well this just about sums up how I feel about photographing babies and children or more specifically babies and children in hats!  I am not sure what it is about kids in hats that I love so much. Perhaps it's that babies with hair that hasn't quite grown out (as in beautiful Juliet's case) look instantly elegant and stylish or maybe it's that I am drawn to how a hat with a hit of colour will make a lovely baby's eyes pop even more.  In any case, I have dozens and the other day while categorizing them into sizes (yes, I have that many) I realized I have a serious addiction. So without much further ado I would like you all to meet the latest addition to my hat family.

And of course, a big thanks goes out to my gorgeous baby this morning for being such a willing participant and looking so fabulous in ... hats!
