Pretty in Pink

Having had a little girl myself,  I have a particular penchant for all things PINK!  Now that my baby is 5 years old, I especially enjoy photographing little girls' whose mommies, like me, enjoy shopping for their princesses. Enjoy this sneak peek of an absolute beauty I had the privilege of capturing on camera this afternoon.  Thanks for a fun session M family!

Beauty

I was keen to go on location this morning to meet the newest addition to this wonderful family. I relish at the opportunity to get creative in a client's home - the first thing I saw when I walked into this kitchen was a beautiful stainless steel food scale. Mom was especially game to use the scale as a prop. Now of course, it didn't hurt that Baby K was a dream for me; sleeping soundly through almost all the cajoling, curling and folding.

Learnfest ~ Atlanta, Georgia

Last week I spent an unbelievably inspiring three days with 60 photographers from the U.S and Canada at a workshop called Learnfest. I am home now and I am buzzing with fresh ideas about my business. I feel excited, inspired and ready to apply what I have learnt to my photography craft! Thank you to all the teachers and participants who made learning SO much fun!
